We have decided after ten years it was time to end Captain Midnight’s Run for CF.  I have seen a sharp decline in runners, have lost sponsors, and have had some substantial cost increases.  These factors have made me evaluate if I have it in me to put in the work to get it back to where it was or possibly keep going and see the event slide in both money raised and quality of offerings for participants.

Over 3000 runners joined us over the years helping raiser over $80,000 for the Iowa chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

I appreciate the support of our loyal runners.  We tried every year to go far beyond the typical 5k race and hope everyone enjoyed it.

A huge thank you to all of the sponsors that helped make it the race it was!

Whether you ran, walked, volunteered, or donated- thank you for a great 10 years.  It has been a very positive time for cystic fibrosis research and advances.  Thank you for being a part of it.
